Master’s Degree in ICT and Internet Engineering<\/h2><\/h1><\/span>

The ICT & Internet Engineering Master\u2019s Degree Course of Study is a programme taught in English that focuses on the design, development, implementation and management of secure systems for communication and information processing. The corresponding technological sector is that of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), which plays a fundamental and strategical role in every modern society by enabling the technological progress in several areas, including health, environment and energy, transportation, commerce, public services, entertainment, national security, education and research. After completing this degree in ICT & Internet Engineering, the graduates can choose from a variety of career paths. They are able to work as Network Engineers, Software Developers, System Analysts, Communication Specialists, Cybersecurity Specialists or ICT Project Managers.
\nThey can find employment in sectors like Telecommunication companies, Software Development companies, IT Consultancy companies, Research organizations and Government agencies.<\/p>\n

The Master\u2019s Degree course of Study aims to provide students with fundamental skills in telecommunications, information technology, and security that will enable them to specialize in the ICT field. Students will become highly trained, flexible, and skilled professionals to address technical problems of ICT systems, services, and applications in the short term, which require a set of interdisciplinary knowledge provided by the master\u2019s degree programme.<\/p>\n

The program offer 5 formative paths as follows and all formative paths are reinforced by concrete laboratory experiences<\/strong><\/em> and software design which give theoretical knowledge and practical skills on modern ICT technologies to the student.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The Cybersecurity path focuses on the analysis and advanced defence of ICT systems, offering skills at mitigating vulnerabilities and at implementing effective security measures. Students will be able to face the growing complexity of cyber-attacks, protecting critical infrastructures and sensitive data from cyber attacks;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Internet of Things<\/h2><\/div>

The Internet of Things path offers an advanced formation which is focused on a vast scale systems for the Internet of the future and which is intended to be an ecosystem where all the connected objects are integrated into cloud computing services and artificial intelligence solutions<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Space Integrated Systems<\/h2><\/div>

The Space Integrated Systems path is dedicated to the advanced design and the development of space systems, focusing on satellite communications, navigation and surveillance systems<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Sensing System path focuses on advanced sensors, offering the opportunity to study and develop highly integrated, sensitive and accurate sensing systems, to be used for a vast range of applications, like environmental surveillance, industrial security and medicine<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Connectivity Infrastructure path provides students with the necessary expertise to design, develop and optimise cutting-edge connectivity infrastructures in the telecommunication field. Students will explore the emerging technologies in the communication networks field, including the last generation mobile networks, optical and satellite networks<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
